I did not know that but it makes sense. I always thought they were related to crabs, just a land variety. When I lived out in the woods in the Ouachita Forest, every September there would be a mass migration of trantulas, seemingly traveling west, hundreds of them, maybe thousands. Kind of freaky at first.
