    Stop green washing, the data for the UK shows that the plastic produced by switching to 'bags for life' has actually increased dramatically. The bags are thicker and people still use them like they did the old ones as they aren't expensive enough. Following brexit the UK is set to miss out on incoming initiatives to ban single use plastics set by the EU. Even a law just been passed forcing gadget manufacturers to use the same cable for charging.
