Please use your platform to report the truth behind the cruel and inhuman Boknal Days in S Korea. The dates are 7/16, 7/26 and 8/15. In the midst of a world wide pandemic it’s time for the global community to demand an end to to the vile and unsanitary slaughter of innocent dogs in S Korea, Indonesia, China and several other countries. The animals suffer acts of unimaginable cruelty and if that is not reason enough, then a crushing pandemic needs to be. The inhumane and unsanitary ways the dogs are killed are vile. It’s going to take all of us to make this nightmare end.

Brut nature FR Hello , Please report on S. Korea’s Dog Meat Trade. Approximately 1 million dogs are eaten a year. About 70% are consumed during Boknal/ the 3 hottest days of summer in July and August. Dog Soup/Bosingtang is believed to help keep you cool and increase virility. The dogs are farm raised. They are kept in dirty cramped cages and fed left overs and food which would otherwise wind up as garbage. They are tortured before killed. They are hung and often stabbed in the neck and left to bleed out. The unkept farms are a health hazard with many dogs dying as puppies or before killed. Join the Brave activist of S. Korea fighting to end the trade. Be their voice. Thank you. https://www.salon.com/2019/08/30/for-millions-of-dogs-south-korea-is-hell-on-earth_partner/

Hello. Please emphasize the importance of Korea banning BOKNAL and the dog cat meat trade. Sick and healthy dogs and cats are packed together during long transportation. Upon arrival at their destination they will be brutally killed. Korean belief is to inflict pain and suffering on dogs before dying to get more adrenaline in their meat. To achieve this, they skin them alive, throw them on a hot metal plate until they die slowly. Dogs and cats are then burned alive with a blowtorch, and or thrown into boiling water. The process of killing dogs and cats is unsanitary. They also feed their dogs human waste, and the animals live in unsanitary conditions. This practice is not only cruel, it is unhealthy and dangerous for everyone. Thank you
