Maybe we should stop being so dependant on oil? My bad. How dare I share logic.

The billionaires that own the oil and the tanker should clean up their own shit. And get a hefty fine for this happening.

Says protected islands so why was it over there? And also it says nothing of this magnitude has ever happened but did we all just forget the bp pipe bust at the bottom of the gulf??

Is it only me that sees a solution? Large empty tanker with large pumping hose and coupler to stranded oil ship. Helicopter pad on empty pump container ship. Take off and land operatives onto stranded ship, bring hose over, couple up and pump all the excess oil off the stranded ship. Then large tow salvage ship comes and fixes the hold, pumps out water. Rows ship off reef. Or if tanker is not salvageable at least the majority of the oil is off it reducing pollution to the environment.

I'd like to know if the Japanese media is covering this disaster. Shame on the nation.
