Homeless students in CA

There are more struggling homeless students in California than you might think...and it could get worse.

Madali ngang makahanap ng trabaho kahit high school graduate ka lang pero hindi naman kaya ng salary makabuhay ng tao. Puros bills bagsak dito. Pero pag university student ka naman unless kung mayamam parents mo ganito pweding mgyari.

Okay for the Midwest people, let another Midwest transplant explain the situation out here. I've lived in LA for a year now and for the first six months I was in a dire situation myself. I found a place but it was flooded half the time I lived there. The cheap apartments are crappy and a lot have roaches. Now it's also nearly impossible to get an apartment unless your FICO score is well above 620 and good luck having that in college. I have to work two jobs to barely make ends meet. And I go to school full time. You don't get enough to pay for housing either. Sometimes you don't get financial aid until the middle of the semester. Now if you want a decent job after graduation you have to go to a great college here. There are thousands of people looking for work so you have to be one of the best. If you aren't white, people automatically assume you don't speak English or are an immigrant. So there's another issue. Oh and finding even part time work? Not easy. Not to mention it's extremely easy to have a car towed here. That's if you have one. So then back to the rent. It's around $1000 near any school for even a tiny studio. So if you want a cheap place you have to move farther but then come up with a way to school and work. Renting just a room is hard too because some people will charge over half the rent or you have no privacy. There's also a chance of being kicked out if you aren't on the lease. So of course there are so many homeless college students. It's literally rigged to make it almost impossible to balance it all at the same time.

That is the result of moonbeam's policies of taking care of illegals first - the citizens of CA mean nothing to him (Governor Jerry Brown).

LA has been financially raping people for a while now... and we live in a place where beer is cheaper than water and food is overpriced by 1000% percent.

I'm always on a lookout for feeding and helping people but my problem is how to reach out and where to find them. Please let me know of any place or organization where we can reach out and help.
