    Soap nuts boiled in hot water for 30mins in simmer or soap nuts soaked in water for 3-4 days and adding a 2-3 spoonful of baking soda is the most eco friendly liquid detergent..

    DO NOT use this. Omg... it's an old myth that will not clean your clothes especially if you have babies or are cloth diapering. This is NOT STRONG soap AT ALL. So if your just cleaning stuff that's pretty much already clean then go for it. There are great local and eco friendly soaps available too

    Sorry, but this can't be as effective as a store-bought detergent. Is not an opinion, is chemistry. Commercial detergents have really specific products such as enzymes.

    Sunlight bar soap works too. boxed detergent so package can be recycled.
