Who's the idiot driver in the add? One hand, never two by the look of it, hands not prepared in the case of an emergency, typical sloppy way of a lazy driver. Get a driving test, you need to learn proper driving techniques.

Everything fucks up the environment. I'm sure SUVs do way less damage then a coal roller. You might as well shit outside and live in a tree hut and make a wooden wagon again.

First of all, the majority of cars made these days are referred to as crossovers, not SUV. They are essential just the same sedans people always bought but with a higher ride hight, They don't take more material to make and don't have bigger engines, not to mention that ever single car company is pressured to reduce emissions at every possible turn. So how is this argument still valid? Isn't this just something that used to be relevant in the 90s and its just a lazy holdover from slow news days back then? Its been proven multiple times that the emissions from personal vehicles represents only a small fraction of the problem and even if we were to remove them all industrial pollution is still enough to make climate change irreversible

Older people buy SUVs because they struggle getting in and out of low cars.
