The refugees who shared a hotel with Novak Djokovic

"We don't get that much attention, like Mr. Djokovic gets." They have been detained for nearly a decade, and were in the same Melbourne hotel as tennis star Novak Djokovic. But unlike him, these refugees are not getting any media attention ... Brut spoke to Adnan Choopani about his experience.

you go to some country without a Visa and then expect them to accept you with open arms, I'm all in for the hardships u faced in the hotel, but what gave u or me the right to seek Asylum in some other country without paperwork

Novak did not come to Australia to seek refugee status. Why he was placed in refugee hotel is beyond me. Well-known Italian publicist Vittorio Sgarbi just posted this irony on his Facebook page: I read a lot of comments from many people who say that Novak Djokovic is a bad example for young people. I confirm. He doesn't smoke, he doesn't drink, he doesn't do drugs, he is vegan, he doesn't chase whores, he doesn't argue, he trains from morning to night, he does charity, he is a believer, he takes care of his family. I hope that young people will stay away from this dangerous character for society and that they will not imitate him in any of that.

Novak risks not playing, but he doesn't risk your untested vaccines and mass strokes and "he died suddenly at the age of 35" .... he bypasses tournaments, but he also bypasses the age of sudden death!

Its totally unacceptable for a normal people. People who are suffering in their countries are trying to rebuild their lives in search of better living, job opportunities. Show some love and compassion at least to those asylum seekers. What is the point of putting them for decade in a detention? If you cant grant asylum, then send them back so that they could at least start a new life.

WHY CANT MUSLIMS SEEK REFUGE IN ISLAMIC COUNTRIES..... THEY WANT TO GO TO A CHRISTIAN MAJORITY COUNTRY BECAUSE THEY DO NOT LIKE TO LIVE IN THEIR OWN SHARIA COUNTRIES....THEN AFTER THEY GET CITIZENSHIP IN A CHRISTIAN MAJORITY COUNTRY, THEY FIGHT FOR SHARIA LAW TO BE INTRODUCED IN THE HOST COUNTRY... I SUPPORT NOVAK DJOKOVIC, BUT NOT THE OTHER ISLAMIC RAPEUGEES

You r in detention coz you r still waiting for the court verdict, to let you stay in Australia, but u r free to go once u decided to leave back to your country. So detentions are common thing if you r on illegal trip.

He must be vaccinated! I am a health worker and vaccinated thrice for precaution dose, how in the hell that a person known in the world like him is not fully vaccinated. Any place in the world had it's norm which is to follow. I don't pity him.
