    I'm waiting for a social worker to get hurt/killed by these people. Yes in theory it's a great idea but in reality it's very dangerous because these people could be on drugs too because of their mentality

    Good move Colorado... These cops are not trained to handle every call, hence, the fatalities we've seen on the scene. I look forward to the annual stats on policing in your community after this measure is put into place...

    Mental illness in this country is still stigmatized. Until that is gone, there won't ever be real change. This is a step in the right direction but ultimately we need to change the stigma.
