This actress won an Oscar. She, however was never going to get the fame of so many others who won the Oscar. So then, a gender change is the next best strategy for that much needed fame. What a world we live in. These dumbtards believe they are special. The one plus point is that the trend might be a new tool for population control.

Born a woman, looks like a woman, sounds like a woman, no surgeries or genetic defects. But we say she's a man because she said so? Come on guys

For as confusing as it is to someone like you, a non-transperson, imagine how confusing it is for them..? Trying to understand themselves in a world constantly trying to put them im a box and control what they are? A lot of people don't even know being trans is an option until much later in life. Thats all any of us are trying to do, no? To grow and understand our nature and evolve into better versions of ourselves? Not everyone's path looks like yours. I understand people have many questions for trans people or LGBTQ+ people in general but life (and being human) is an experience that cannot be summed up in a matter of a few sentences. A lot of social issues are brand new to all of us, including LGBT people.... we don't need to understand it, we just need to respect it. And never stop asking questions in a non- condescending way... discussion is how we understand life and each other better but just thought I'd add a new perspective and maybe some food for thought out there for everyone. I am not totally engaged in the extreme liberal/left beliefs but I do believe extremist are a necessary part of progress and while we don't have to completely conform to others beliefs, we should still take a least a tiny taste of the food for thought... personally I think life is a series of phases... none are less valid or real. We grow and change constantly. If someone's identity or beliefs are not effecting you directly then accept it and move on. Someone's identity or personality isn't up for debate.

I can relate. I see myself as a god king and wish to be addressed and respected as one. However, all these mentally ill, angry bigots refuse to see me for who I am. I can not change who I see myself as, but I can try to force the world to deal with my changes and my will.
