So apparently we just take people on their word now... the fact that trump picked him after firing the other guy who was investigating him shouldn't worry us. I can't believe David Andrés Varela said we are stupud when his only standing point is "he said he wouldn't..." yeah and if you pay attention trump has done tons that he said he wouldn't and zero of what he said he would... :/ and we're stupid? At least we're not naive.

Dude seems very honest but Democrats should treat him like Republicans treated every Obama nominee, just for shits & giggles ;)

He sounds like he might not be a sell out in that position. But his face kinda screams "I'm a huge sellout 😃"

I hope if gets the job he does it with what displayed here. It is a breath of fresh air to see a person Trump nominates openly answer questions

What a refreshing change from the administration's previous appointees.

I urge you to Read up on Chris Wray's own ties to Russia. "The most troubling issue that Wray may face is the fact that his law firm — King & Spalding — represents Rosneft and Gazprom, two of Russia’s largest state-controlled oil companies. Rosneft is also the company that had a $500 billion oil drilling joint-venture with Exxon in 2012, when Secretary of State Rex Tillerson was Exxon’s CEO. "

He's lying through his teeth. I've dealt with a lot of sketchy people, and his speech and mannerisms smack of bullshit. Just watch, it'll be like the lock her up thing. Or the investigation into the supposed millions of illegal voters.

I like him and I hate Trump. He seems to be in the right state of mind and understands the position he is nominated for.

It continues to surprise the stupidity of leftists that is. That in spite of this guy appearing to be very qualified and straightforward, they don't want him on the sole fact that Trump picked him. For crying out loud, he was asked about pledging loyalty to the president and answered that he only pledged loyalty to the Constitution!
