I remember I was sharing my food with you all the time. But then again somehow you were just being neglected as a child because it was a whole different story for your other sibling.

Prisoners in jail get better food and never miss a meal meanwhile kids in school get mistreated in lunch by cafeteria staff because they can't afford one meal, who's more important here a convict who murder or raped or a kid

The reason prisoners get free food is because imprisoning them is profitable, educating kids isn't. In fact a less educated child becomes profitable when they enter the prison system.

This happened to me in elementary school I think it was in 3rd grade. I wanted some school pizza I usually brought my lunch but this time as soon as I came up to the line she said I didn't have money for pizza. So I had to leave my tray and they gave me milk at the table, I didn't like the cafeteria milk and a classmate gave me their fruit. It's a lesson that's definitely stuck with me throughout life, bring your own lunch.. even if it's a hoho and a water.

My child's school provides free breakfast and lunch to every single student in the school. And during the summer they set up in parks to provide lunch for them during summer vacation.

More money goes into the prison system than the school system. The prison has the money to fund meals. The schools don't have the money to o find anything. Don't blame the schools. Blame the government

It's a shame that our own tax payers money goes into those terrible lunches, but then again these students have to still pay for them twice. No compassion even though our own money keeps these schools running ... sad!
