I’ve tried these as they came to an innovation pitch I was hosting. The seaweed packaging was a bit horrid and I can see no viable way of keeping this clean or stacking the product in a shop but I think they would be a great alternative to bottles at events or particularly at sports events such as marathons...the waste at these things and the number of bottles discarded by the runners is quite frankly disgusting!

So how are they transported to keep them clean and from bursting? Plastic. This is not a replacement to water bottles, this is an elitist, if pretty cool, invention that will only function for very specific and limited contexts. No matter what, if you are having to process product, you are creating waste and pollution. And we seriously do need any more of that. Just fill a reusable water bottle. We don't need middle men in our water creating increasing costs, pollution, and corporation.
