A giant Kermit the frog installation is displayed in Paris for Art Basel.

At Place Vendôme, Art Basel’s Public Program features Kermit the Frog, Even (2018), an inflatable sculpture by American artist Alex Da Corte. The artwork shows Kermit in a downward dog pose, inspired by the collapse of a Kermit balloon at the 1991 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Half-deflated yet still floating, the piece reflects themes of fragility and resilience.
