Apple’s September launch event has ended, and this year’s biggest reveal was not just another iPhone Pro upgrade. At its 9 September event, Apple unveiled the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, its first foldable iPhone called iPhone Duo, along with the Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4 and AirPods 5.
For Indian buyers, the launch also brought a wide range of prices. The iPhone 18 Pro starts at Rs. 1,64,900, while the foldable iPhone Duo starts at Rs. 2,99,900 and goes up to Rs. 4,49,900.
The new Pro iPhones will be available in India later this month. The foldable Duo, meanwhile, arrives in October. Here is everything Apple announced and when you can buy it.

iPhone 18 Pro And 18 Pro Max
Apple has kept the Pro range focused on three areas: cameras, performance and battery life.
Both the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max run on the new A20 Pro chip, built using a 2-nanometre process. Apple has also added a new vapour chamber to improve sustained performance during demanding tasks such as gaming and AI processing.
The biggest camera change is the new 48MP Fusion Main camera with variable aperture. For the first time on an iPhone, users can manually control aperture, while the camera can also adjust it automatically depending on lighting and the desired depth of field.
The Camera app also gets new Pro controls for shutter speed, white balance, aperture and exposure. Apple has added new texture and grain controls to Photographic Styles as well.
The iPhone 18 Pro models also get a smaller Dynamic Island that can display up to three Live Activities at once. They support Apple Intelligence and the new Siri AI through iOS 27.
The iPhone 18 Pro comes with a 6.3-inch display, while the Pro Max has a 6.9-inch display.
Both models are available in black, silver, glacier and burgundy.

Apple will open pre-orders for both models in India on 12 September, with availability beginning 18 September. Apple India lists pre-orders from 5:30pm IST.
Then Came The iPhone Duo
The biggest change to the iPhone lineup is the iPhone Duo, Apple’s first foldable iPhone.
When closed, the Duo has a 5.4-inch outer Super Retina XDR display. Open it up and that becomes a 7.6-inch inner display, giving users Apple’s largest iPhone screen yet.
Both displays support ProMotion, Always-On functionality and up to 3,000 nits of peak outdoor brightness. A nano-texture finish is designed to reduce reflections and make the fold less noticeable.
Apple has built the phone around a Grade 5 titanium frame and a precision hinge made using more than 100 components. It also carries an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
The Duo uses the same A20 Pro chip as the iPhone 18 Pro models. Its two-battery design is split across the two sides of the foldable, with Apple claiming up to 31 hours of video playback on the inner display and up to 44 hours on the outer display.
The camera setup includes a 48MP Fusion Main camera with an optical-quality 2x Telephoto option and a 48MP Fusion Ultra Wide camera. It also supports 4K video at 120fps in Dolby Vision.
The foldable also replaces Face ID with Touch ID built into the side button. It is eSIM-only worldwide, including support for Airtel, Jio and Vi.
Apple has redesigned iOS 27 around the foldable form factor. One of the biggest changes is Split View, which lets users run two apps side by side. Users can also run two windows of the same app and save app pairs for quick access.

Apple Watch Series 12 Gets A Health Upgrade
Apple also introduced the Apple Watch Series 12, with the focus shifting towards health and recovery.
The new Health Sensing System enables higher-frequency heart-rate and heart-rate-variability measurements. It also introduces a readiness score, designed to give users an idea of how prepared their body is for the day.
The watch runs on Apple’s S11 chip and supports Apple Intelligence features through watchOS 27.
Series 12 is available in 42mm and 46mm sizes.
For finishes, buyers can choose from dark bronze, light gold, black and space grey aluminium, radiant gold and natural titanium, or new pearl white and night blue ceramic options.
The aluminium models also get Ceramic Shield 2. Apple says the material is 60% tougher than the Ion-X glass used on previous aluminium models.

Ultra 4 Is Built For Longer Workouts
For users looking for a more rugged watch, Apple introduced the Apple Watch Ultra 4.
It gets the same new Health Sensing System, higher-frequency heart-rate and HRV measurements and the new readiness score. It also uses the S11 chip and offers a new set of intelligence features through watchOS 27.
Apple claims up to 45 hours of workout tracking and improved GPS accuracy. The Ultra 4 comes in natural titanium and black titanium.

AirPods 5 Add ANC To An Open-Ear Design
Apple’s audio lineup also received an update with AirPods 5.
The new earbuds feature Active Noise Cancellation, with Apple claiming up to 1.5 times more ANC than AirPods 4 with ANC. They use a redesigned acoustic system and next-generation Adaptive EQ for improved sound.
AirPods 5 also brings Live Translation, powered by Apple Intelligence, along with Siri AI and personalised Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking.
The standard AirPods 5 have a USB-C charging case and offer up to four hours of listening with ANC.
There is also an AirPods 5 with Wireless Charging Case version. It adds volume control through a swipe on the stem, a wireless charging case and up to five hours of listening time with ANC.
