Reacher Season 4

Alan Ritchson returns as Jack Reacher for the fourth season of the action series based on Lee Child’s novels.
The new season begins after Reacher has an unexpected encounter with a stranger on a subway. The meeting draws him into a dangerous conspiracy and puts him up against a powerful network of enemies.
The season begins with three episodes, followed by weekly releases.
Women In Blue Season 2

Release date: August 12
The Spanish-language crime drama Women In Blue, also known as Las Azules, returns for a second season.
The series follows members of Mexico’s first female police force. In Season 2, the investigation takes a new turn when a student activist’s body is discovered, leading the officers towards a case connected to the 1968 student massacre.
The new season premieres with its first episode on August 12, with subsequent episodes releasing weekly.
A Child Of My Own
Platform: Netflix
Release date: August 13
A Child Of My Own is a documentary from Chilean filmmaker Maite Alberdi.
The film follows Alejandra, whose desire to become a mother and the pressure surrounding motherhood lead her to fake a pregnancy. What begins as a deception eventually takes a much darker turn, resulting in a media scandal.
Netflix lists the documentary for release on August 13.
My Brilliant Career

Based on Miles Franklin’s novel, My Brilliant Career follows Sybylla, a young woman in early 20th-century rural Australia who dreams of becoming a writer.
As she navigates family expectations and her feelings for Harry, Sybylla is forced to consider what kind of life she wants for herself.
The story centres on the tension between personal ambition, independence and the social expectations placed on women at the time.
This, That And Everything In Between

This coming-of-age drama follows Joanne, a successful television screenwriter whose life changes when her estranged mother returns after almost three decades.
Her mother’s return comes with a secret that forces Joanne to confront her past and reassess the life she has built.

The Traitors Season 2

Karan Johar returns to host the second season of The Traitors.
The reality competition brings contestants together in a game built around alliances, deception and strategy. Players are divided into Traitors and Innocents, with the latter attempting to identify the contestants secretly working against them.

Don’t Say Good Luck

Sunny Sandler stars as Sophie Birenbaum, a teenager who gets the lead role in her high school musical.
Her excitement is interrupted when her family faces difficult news. The coming-of-age dramedy follows Sophie as she tries to navigate life at home while preparing for an important performance.
The film is directed by Julia Hart and premieres on Netflix on August 14.
Umthetho
Platform: Netflix
Release date: August 14
The South African crime drama Umthetho follows Mbali Dlamini, who discovers that her long-lost brother Moses is alive and leading a prison gang.
When her younger brother becomes caught up in danger, Mbali is drawn into her brother’s criminal network and has to operate as a double agent.

Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata

Kangana Ranaut stars in Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata, a Hindi action thriller directed by Manoj Tapadia.
The film focuses on the medical staff at Mumbai’s Cama & Albless Hospital during the 26/11 terror attacks and their efforts to protect patients amid the crisis.
The cast also includes Girija Oak and Smita Tambe. ZEE5 lists the film for release on August 14.
