On 12 December 2026, women from across Mumbai will come together for the Nike After Dark Tour, a women-only 10K night race. Ahead of the event, women from Mumbai’s running and creative communities gathered for an evening centred around a shared love for movement, community and self-expression, with conversations that naturally went well beyond running.
The evening brought together Pooja Dhingra, Chef and Founder of Le15 Patisserie and Pardon Our French; Sahirah Oshidar, After Dark Tour global ambassador and Founder of On Tour Club; and Nike Running Coaches Akshata Pai and Mishti Khatri, alongside women from Mumbai’s running community.
Over a candlelit dinner, the conversation moved from first runs and training routines to something much more familiar: how difficult it can be to make time for yourself.

It Was About More Than Running
Not everyone starts running for the same reason.
For some, it is about fitness. For others, it is a way to clear their head, meet people or build a routine that is actually their own.
That was the feeling around the table.
There were stories about getting started, staying consistent and finding the motivation to turn up even when the sofa feels like a better option. The focus was less on pace or performance and more on what makes people want to keep going.
Sahirah Oshidar, who founded On Tour Club, has built a community around movement, music and culture. She is also one of the global ambassadors for Nike's 2026 After Dark Tour.
Alongside her were Nike Running Coaches Akshata Pai and Mishti Khatri, who are part of the Mumbai training journey.
