Fresh explosions heard in Iran's capital, Tehran on 1 March

Multiple explosions were reported in Tehran on 1 March at 2PM IST, after the Israeli military said it was targeting locations in the central part of the city. The strikes came a day after coordinated US-Israel air operations across Iran that, according to Iranian state media, resulted in the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. The Israeli Defence Forces said that the latest strikes were aimed at establishing aerial control and targeting what it described as Iranian regime assets.  Iranian authorities had earlier said they would respond to the killing and launched missile attacks toward several locations in the Gulf region, including parts of the UAE, Qatar and Bahrain.
