Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar died after his plane crashed while attempting an emergency landing at Baramati airport, according to official reports. The two pilots and Pawar's two security personnel also died in the crash.The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA)confirmed five people on board died.Emergency services were deployed immediately following reports of debris and fire at the crash site.
