On a road long riddled with potholes and deep craters, a biker lost control and fell. The incident happened in Whitefield’s Thubarahalli, a residential and IT hub in East Bengaluru with a large concentration of apartment communities and housing developments. The biker was taking an alternative route to avoid traffic when he encountered the crater-filled stretch amid ongoing sewage work. Other motorists on the road immediately stopped and rushed to his rescue. The incident raised questions over Bengaluru’s roads, which have long struggled with potholes and poor road conditions.
