In Chattisgarh’s Bilaspur, heavy machinery used for boring work on a vacant plot caused a sudden surge in underground pressure, leading to the bursting of a neighbouring house’s boring pipe. The intense pressure resulted in the ground cracking open, following which a powerful stream of water gushed out. The incident created panic among nearby residents, who rushed out of their homes. Local authorities were informed and safety measures were taken to control the situation. No injuries were reported, and further inspection is underway to assess the damage.
