A traffic police sub-inspector in Jammu and Kashmir was suspended after a video of him shooting reels went viral. He was seen misusing an official police vehicle on the snow-covered Mughal Road in Poonch district. SI Gul Sheraz, posted as Sector Officer on the route, was seen leaning out of the moving vehicle, raising safety concerns. Following the incident, Assistant Sub-Inspector Anil Kumar was appointed as the route’s new Sector Officer, while Sheraz was directed to report to the Traffic Police Lines in rural Jammu. A departmental inquiry was ordered by the Senior Superintendent of Police to investigate the incident.
