At the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, fans who reportedly paid nearly Rs. 6,000 for tickets to see Lionel Messi during his GOAT India Tour, were disappointed to find many seats covered in bird droppings and dust. The GOAT India Tour was a fan-engagement visit by Messi to India, across four different cities Kolkata, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and New Delhi during December 2025. The football icon took part in meet-and-greets, exhibitions, and football activities alongside teammates like Luis Suárez and Rodrigo De Paul. In order to see Messi, tickets ranged from Rs. 3,500 to Rs. 50,000, with premium packages offering meet-and-greet opportunities and signed merchandise as per TOI. Several reports said the tour organisers priced a single photograph with the Argentine legend at nearly Rs. 10 lakh, with only 100 exclusive slots available. Source: News 18
