He died during treatment on 27 October, two days after the alleged attack. Police have arrested the vendor, identified as Chintu Gupta, and sent him to judicial custody. How An Argument Over Extra Chole Escalated Into A Stabbing

Sandeep, who worked as a private car driver, had visited a Sunday market in the Nihal Vihar area on 25 October. According to his father, Bijender Singh, he had ordered food from a chole bhature vendor near Jwalapuri Nala and later asked for an additional serving of chole.

The request reportedly led to an argument between Sandeep and the vendor. Singh alleged that the vendor abused his son during the exchange before the confrontation turned violent.

A senior police officer, as quoted by Hindustan Times, said the vendor allegedly picked up a knife from his cart and stabbed Sandeep three to four times in the abdomen.

Sandeep was taken to hospital that night. His father said he reached the spot after learning about the incident, with the help of eyewitnesses who assisted in taking his son for treatment.
