NDTV reported that her body was found at around 9 am on the first floor of the house. Some other reports described the location differently, so the safest wording is that she was found inside her family home.
Rampurhat police reached the residence and began an investigation.
Her body was sent to Rampurhat Government Medical College and Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
A police officer told PTI that the circumstances surrounding the death would be established after the post-mortem and other procedural inquiries.
