She alleged that Sharma had faced physical violence, threats and blackmail over several months. His family has also questioned the circumstances surrounding the events immediately after his fall.
Ranjana said she received a call on 9 October informing her that her son’s condition had deteriorated and that he was being taken to King George’s Medical University. She alleged that when the family reached the hospital, the people accompanying him showed them his body from a distance before leaving.
