A fire broke out at a factory in Delhi’s Swaroop Nagar on 13 September, leading six people to jump from a nearby building while trying to escape. The fire broke out on the ground and first floors of a factory that made judo dresses and boxing gloves. No one was inside the factory when the fire started. Videos from the scene showed people escaping from a building next to the factory as the fire spread. Six people jumped from the nearby building and were injured. They were taken to hospital for treatment. Police were investigating the cause of the fire.
