Indian YouTuber Anshu Bisht, popularly known as GamerFleet, had his phone stolen during a trip to San Francisco, but the device was recovered within minutes after he alerted the police. According to NDTV, Bisht was at a Burger King outlet when he briefly left his table to collect his food. During that time, an unidentified man allegedly picked up his phone and fled the restaurant on a scooter. Security camera footage reportedly showed the man taking the phone and, according to Bisht, putting it inside his underwear before leaving. Bisht was able to track the stolen phone using another device but decided not to confront the suspect himself. Instead, he called 911 and shared the phone’s location with the police. Officers from the Colma Police Department reached the location within minutes and detained the suspect. Bisht said that several police vehicles arrived at the spot and that the officers had already caught the man by the time he reached there. Sharing his reaction on social media, the YouTuber praised the police response and expressed his respect for the department. He also recalled an officer telling him that people should not hesitate to contact the police if they feel unsafe. Bisht later joked about feeling uncomfortable using the recovered phone after seeing where the suspect had allegedly kept it. GamerFleet, who is known for his gaming content, has more than 22 million subscribers across his YouTube channels. His account of the incident has since gone viral, with social media users discussing both the theft and the swift police response.
