Zafar, who worked with Kaif in Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, questioned why women are expected to meet beauty standards created by others. He said expectations such as women having a “zero figure” and men maintaining six-packs throughout the year are not realistic. He also said people may not know what someone else is experiencing and urged people to show compassion. Zafar acknowledged that he had judged people by their appearance in the past and said he was ashamed of it. He urged men to stop judging women by their bodies and let them live on their own terms.
