Volunteers from the Har Maidaan Fateh organisation travelled to flood-affected areas of Bihar to distribute fruits and relief supplies among affected families. Videos shared on Facebook show volunteers asking a crowd not to take away supplies that were meant for distribution. Sahaj Duggal and his team are seen trying to manage the crowd before some volunteers are reportedly manhandled as people take the supplies. Duggal is also seen asking people why they took the items, after which the crowd disperses. The videos do not independently establish the identities of those involved or the exact location. Meanwhile, Bihar’s Disaster Management Department said around 50 lakh people across 15 districts had been affected by floods as of 16 September.
