Pradeep Singh Rawat, known for his roles in Mahabharat, Sarfarosh, Lagaan and Ghajini, died on 4 August at the age of 74 after battling cancer. His funeral was held in Mumbai on 5 August, where family members and colleagues gathered to pay their last respects. Among those present was his Ghajini co-star Aamir Khan. Director Ashutosh Gowariker also attended the funeral, along with Lagaan actors Yashpal Sharma, Daya Shankar Pandey and Rajendra Gupta. Rawat worked in film and television for more than four decades. He appeared in several Hindi films and television shows, including Mahabharat, Sarfarosh, Lagaan and Ghajini. He is survived by his family.
