Taking a dig at the BJP government, Yadav asked whether “boats” would now have to operate at the airport. The video shows airport personnel working to drain the accumulated rainwater, while water can be seen along the route connecting the terminal and parking area. Were flights affected? Authorities said flight operations and passenger movement continued normally despite the temporary waterlogging. The airport teams cleared the accumulated water and restored normal movement on the affected route, according to the Uttar Pradesh government statement cited in the report. There was therefore no reported shutdown of the airport or suspension of flight operations in connection with the water accumulation.
