Australia’s first domestically built orbital rocket lifted off and crashed 14 seconds later during a test flight. Built by Gilmour Space Technologies, the Eris rocket launched from Bowen in North Queensland on 30 July. A video from the site showed the rocket rising before falling back to Earth.
