A man in his 20s lost his life after being fatally attacked by a tiger at Yorkshire Wildlife Park in Doncaster, England, on 10 October. The man entered an enclosure housing Amur tigers, also known as Siberian tigers. As per Sky News, the man had asked visitors to photograph him with the tiger in the background before entering the enclosure. Some witnesses described him behaving unusually, while others said visitors tried to stop him from climbing in. However, his reasons for entering the enclosure remained unknown. The tiger, named Altai, attacked the man inside the enclosure. Emergency services responded to the incident, but he could not be saved. The wildlife park confirmed that the tiger would not be euthanised following the attack.
