I went on the ground to understand what really happened, after a protest against an under construction solid waste management plant turned violent a few weeks ago. Locals alleged a lathi charge, something the police later denied. But videos from that day went viral, raising some questions. In this report, I spoke to the farmers at the centre of the protest.
