Actor Ram Kapoor is making headlines after an emotional revelation on Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa. During an episode of the reality show, the 52-year-old said he helped his father, Anil Kapoor, through his final days after his pancreatic cancer relapsed during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Kapoor said his father chose not to undergo treatment again and asked him to stay by his side until the end. "I helped my father plan his death," he said on the show, adding that his father was not afraid of dying but did not want to face it alone.

The actor also revealed that the incident affected his relationship with members of his family, saying his mother and sister no longer speak to him.

The revelation has brought renewed attention to Kapoor, who has remained one of Indian television's best-known actors for nearly three decades.
