The controversy began after Kangana reacted to videos and social media content shared during the CJP-led protests against the NEET paper leak.
In a series of Instagram Stories, she criticised the language used by some protesters, calling the videos "puke-inducing" and "crass". She wrote, "Never in my life have I seen so much ugliness in one place... these reels from Gen Z protests are puke inducing." She also questioned the upbringing of the protesters, asking who was "birthing and raising" them.
Kangana also defended those accused of assaulting protesters during the demonstrations, saying, "Jab bolte ho toh sunna bhi padega," suggesting that people who make provocative remarks should also be prepared for strong reactions.

The "Generation Gutter" Remark
The controversy escalated a day later when Kangana made another Instagram post aimed at what she described as "westernised" young Hindu women.
She wrote, "I call them Generation Gutter." In the same post, she claimed that some of them had "nothing to offer to the system", were "not good at studies", and were "so ugly and corrupt" that they "can't even become homemakers". She also accused them of glorifying "drugs, drinks and endless body counts".
Her remarks quickly drew criticism from political leaders, social media users and CJP members.

CJP Hits Back
The Cockroach Janta Party rejected Kangana's comments, saying they insulted an entire generation of young Indians who had been protesting over issues affecting students.
Responding to the BJP MP, CJP spokesperson Saurav Das said, "Gen Z has done more for the country than you." He argued that the protests represented young people demanding accountability rather than seeking attention.
Das also dismissed Kangana's political influence, saying, "Nobody takes her seriously. Even people in her own party don't take her seriously."
The CJP maintained that the debate should remain focused on the concerns raised by students instead of personal attacks.

Kangana Responds To Saurav Das
Kangana did not let the criticism go unanswered.
Replying directly to Saurav Das on social media, she questioned his credentials and his role in the protests.
She wrote, "Dear Saurav, your issues are personal. You are not a student, you are simply useless. Learn some skill. It's a good place to start."
She also defended her own achievements, writing, "I had two National Awards at his age," while arguing that she had already built a successful career when she was his age.
The exchange soon spread across social media, with supporters of both sides amplifying the statements.
