Congress MP Shashi Tharoor said there had been no progress after 25 rounds of India-China border talks. His comments came as National Security Adviser Ajit Doval held the 25th round of Special Representatives' Talks with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Beijing on August 25. The talks focused on the India-China boundary question. Tharoor said resolving the undemarcated India-China border was important for India. He said a settlement could prevent disputes linked to the lack of a demarcated border. The BJP government has rejected claims of Chinese intrusion into Indian territory and has said transgressions occur because the border is not clearly demarcated.
