05/06/2019 20:32I'm all about individual energy independence. Its the absolutely best answer. Unfortunately the large monied interests of the planet don't like that idea because it takes away a significant chunk of their power over us. For today, because of the deadline we face to save this planet (there is no planet B) we need to accept something less than perfect to maintain our civilization.

05/06/2019 10:19Have seen some houses run on wind turbines that are not much bigger than a basket ball on top of a car alternator surely with today’s tech we could make them way smaller and way more enviro friendly

05/06/2019 05:23Put a wind turbine near me. I will happily endure wind turbine syndrome (because it doesn't exist), the reduction in bird and insect life (because it won't happen), and the myriad of other horrible things attributed to wind turbines (because it is a bunch of fabricated lies). Oh! People are going to make money out of them? Please make up your minds what bothers you more - people making money or not making money... What shall we accuse the 'greenies' of this week - socialism or capitalism? You'd have to have your head seriously in the sand about global heating to think any of these arguments are even worth listening to.
