Tower of London closes after protesters throw custard onto British crown jewels.

The Tower of London temporarily closed Saturday after protesters threw custard and apple crumble onto a case containing the British Imperial State Crown. The protest was done by supporters of "Take Back Power," which is self described as a "nonviolent civil-resistance group." Their website calls on the U.K. government to “establish a permanent citizen’s assembly — a House of the People, which has the power to tax extreme wealth and fix Britain.” The four participants were arrested following the incident, and an investigation is ongoing.
