You're right the solution should be to clear cut rainforest then we won't have to use plastic packaging anymore we can use cardboard and paper where we can destroy the Earth mining for minerals to use glass materials or metal there is no one answer

There was a recycling plant near where i lived and then shut it down. I have nowhere close to me where i can recycle weekly and i have a feeling that is probaly why alot of people dont bother. There are no resources to do so. The city doesnt even put out individual trashcans that could let people have the opportunity to recylce their plastic bottles or cans

If you really want contribute to making the world a cleaner and better place just kill someone. Don't do it, I'm just saying. But really though, think about it. How much 1 person on average pollutes during their life and how much land it takes to support their diet. I'm not going to put the numbers out there, research it. Is the best way to save the planet offing someone or lowering a personal footprint? If you spent your life time reducing your pollution footprint...Would it be more or less then just offing someone?

Where I live at in Mississippi the only things we can recycle are metals and we actually get paid for it things like cans, tin, and copper. We have absoultly nowhere to take paper, plastic or glass.

I would love to make bigger changes in my lifestyle in order to use less plastic. The thing is, when the products are actually environmentally friendly or have no plastic wrapping at all, they tend to be more expensive than other products. For some of us, is impossible to spend $25 for a piece of soap, when we can only afford the $6 soap.

This would mean supporting our local communities! Reducing waste is a matter of personal choice. I would like to point out that while this video is really good at addressing the recycling labeling issue it doesn’t provide sufficient means for us consumers to reduce our use of plastic. The change starts with us, big companies with lots of money will only change when money changes from their pockets into those of smaller eco conscious businesses, this included local farms, bakeries, restaurants and going back to the butcher store. Too many regulations make small farmers run sustainable business and that is a problem!
