05/21/2020 22:47How does artificial intelligence measure up against the natural intelligence of some deadly viruses? They have robust ability to mutate, seemingly far outpacing the human evolutionary process. While genetic engineering has advanced by leaps and bounds, these viruses boast the capacity to produce their own “designer-babies” that can quickly multiply. I began to wonder though. 1. Can apes be taught to start fire, perhaps learning to cook their own food? 🤔 2. Can they be taught to farm, and grow their own crops? 🐣 3. Can they be taught to make their own spears and fish hooks?
