That's interesting. An artificial tree can't be reused. Well, we 'reuse'an artificial one at the moment. Now I know that not all the things Brut says are 100 % true...

Doesn't have to be. Don't buy useless tat, shop locally or smartly, use recyclable wrapping, don't use fake trees, travel.by coach, skip the imported alcohol, eat proper food.

I try my best to reduce waste during this Season as much as possible . The foods are 99% home made , Christmas decoration are very carefully selected & re used every year with creative approach. Same goes with fairy lights & gift wrapping papers. I urge everyone to be gentle in opening the wrap so that they can be reused for wrapping. And usually we travel in public transport as much as possible.

It sure is. 100%. Ban it all. Let’s not forget how many factory workers in China develop cancer and other serious life-threatening illnesses from making and decorating all of those tacky, cheap Xmas decorations (the red paint and glitter alone is what’s killing people and the environment).
