This lady is just questioning why America choose to be a capitalist country. Being a parliamentarian she should voice to bring a proper policy like India if she is concerned about the “Astronomical prices”. Today India is called “Pharmacy of the World” just not like that. Government policies doesn’t allow companies to charge so called “Astronomical Prices” from patients. For better understanding checkout Indian Govt Vs Novartis case (2012)

In comparison to American pharma lobbying, we are nothing. Medicine that costed me 800$ in America costs 300 rs in India.
