The man who threw a sandwich at a federal agent in Washington was found not guilty of assault charges.

Sean Charles Dunn, 37, was accused of throwing a 12-inch deli sandwich at a federal agent deployed by the Trump administration in Washington on Aug. 10, 2025. After the incident, the office of U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro charged Dunn with a misdemeanor for assaulting, resisting, opposing, impeding, intimidating, and interfering with a federal officer. After seven hours of deliberation, jurors found Dunn not guilty, and he was acquitted.
