The story of Rodney King

Filmed by a bystander, the savage beating of Rodney King led to the 1992 L.A. riots. This is the story of the first "viral" video of police brutality against an African American man. ⚠️ Distressing images ⚠️

When they show the video, why do they always leave out the beginning of the video that shows Rodney King going after the police and being tasered and not being effected. He just kept coming after them. He was a very large man.

Everyone sees that. That was never disputed. He admitted to driving under the influence. Depending on whether or not he had prior convictions, one is typically arrested, taken to jail, charged with a crime, tried for said charge, sentenced to serving time in prison or a treatment center and released after satisfying the courts. Not savagely beaten by the police nearly to death and suffering life altering injuries. Can you not see that??!!

They were kicking his head with boots 😱 In what perverse reality do cops senselessly beat someone to an inch of their lives or kill them? 😱 it's so evil.

30 years and hundreds of videos later, there are still people defending it. Still people who don't see a problem.

That's true to some extent , police man needs better training , they need to relax the " I felt my life was threatened that's why I started shooting" old excuse. also don't forget black people in general needs more education , learn how to interact with other races in the public places and stop thinking they should be untouchables and venerated because their ancestors were slaves ,.. think about it , when in public places most of them act like if they own the place and they always have the right of way , almost every time a cop pull them over they always resist , run or act like if the have a weapon etc,etc...
